HI FLY is a leading widebody aircraft wet lease specialist operating worldwide, with an Airbus fleet of A330 and A340.
The wet lease business market is very demanding, and airlines are increasingly opting for wet lease solutions as they are found to be reliable, safe, and efficient. For that reason, Hi Fly fleet is steadily growing with new widebody additions in the coming months.
We are currently looking for highly motivated FLIGHT SUPPORT SUPERVISOR to join our Flight Support Team in Lisbon-Portugal.
The FLIGHT SUPPORT SUPERVISOR will lead the Flight Support team and is responsible for coordinating all technical and operational support activities critical to safe and efficient flight operations. This includes aircraft performance & navigation calculations (Performance & Navigation Department), and the publication and revision of operational manuals (Publications Department).
The role ensures regulatory compliance, represents the team in audits and cross-functional meetings, and manages communication with external entities and authorities.
The reporting line is to the Chief Operating Officer and this position directly supervises five (5) Flight Support Engineers and three (3) Documentation Specialists.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAISN RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead and support the daily activities of the Flight Support team.
· Allocate tasks, monitor team performance, and ensure alignment with departmental objectives.
· Represent the team in internal meetings and collaborate across Hi Fly Serviços Partilhados operational departments, including but not limited to Flight Dispatch and iOCC, Commercial Department, Maintenance & Engineering, and direct contact with customers’ Safety, Training and Flight Operations Departments.
· Manage aircraft performance and navigation calculations.
· Provide flight crews with accurate and timely data to support safe and efficient operations.
· Perform payload and flight/block time calculations in support of the Commercial Department.
· Maintain, update, and distribute all operational documentation, including, but not limited to:
· Flight Manuals (FM)
· Flight Crew Operating Manual (FCOM)
· Weight & Balance Manuals (W&B)
· Flight Crew Training Manual (FCTM)
· Operations Manuals (Parts A, B, C, D)
· Assist in the establishment and maintenance of the Minimum Equipment List (MEL) and support the approval process with the Aviation Authority.
· Ensure all aircraft operate in compliance with performance requirements and have up-to-date documentation onboard.
· Represent the department during internal and external audits.
· Support the resolution of any audit non-conformities in collaboration with Quality Management.
· Act as a liaison with regulatory authorities when required.
· Manage the processing and analysis of electronic flight data.
· Oversee updates to the Flight Management System (FMS) database.
· Archive flight-related documentation and ensure appropriate access by authorized personnel.
· Support evaluation, testing, and implementation of new technical products or software.
· Establish procedures and provide feedback for new system integrations.
SOME OF THE REQUIREMENTS:
· Airbus aircraft type certifications.
· Performance Engineering, Dispatch Courses.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Experience with flight planning, documentation systems, or aviation-specific software tools, is an advantage.

This is an office-based role in Lisbon-Portugal, working Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the wet lease operations (ACMI and Charter), this is not an ordinary office job, and you can expect very demanding, challenging, and exciting days upon joining our Organization.
