HI FLY is a leading widebody aircraft wet lease specialist operating worldwide, with an Airbus fleet of A330 and A340.
The wet lease business market is very demanding, and airlines are increasingly opting for wet lease solutions as they are found to be reliable, safe, and efficient. For that reason, Hi Fly fleet is steadily growing with new widebody additions in the coming months.
Considering the forecasted growth, we are hiring a Pricing Specialist, for the Headquarters in Lisbon.
The Pricing Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies for the aviation services offered by our company. This individual will work closely with various departments, including finance and operations, to ensure pricing models align with market trends, cost structures, and the company’s overall revenue goals. The Pricing Specialist will use data-driven analysis to optimize pricing and maximize profitability in a highly dynamic and competitive market.
SOME OF OUR REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred;
· Fluency in English;
· 3+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or revenue management, ideally within the aviation or transportation industry;
· Proven experience in a B2B environment with complex contract and service offerings;
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable recommendations;
· Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or specialized pricing software);
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey pricing strategies to stakeholders;
· High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
· Knowledge of aviation industry regulations and market dynamics is a plus.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Pricing Strategy & Development:
· Develop and maintain costing/pricing models for various aviation services, including aircraft leasing, maintenance, fuel services, and charter operations;
· Collaborate with sales teams to provide tailored pricing solutions for key accounts, including airline companies and brokers;
· Market & Competitive Analysis:
· Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor pricing analysis to identify trends and opportunities for adjustment;
· Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and economic factors that may affect pricing strategies;
· Cost & Profitability Analysis:
· Collaborate with the finance team to evaluate cost structures and ensure that pricing strategies achieve profitability targets;
· Analyze historical sales data, forecast demand, and assess the impact of pricing changes on revenue and margins;
· Contract Management & Bid Support:
· Assist in the preparation of pricing proposals for contract negotiations and bid processes;
· Ensure that all pricing proposals align with both company objectives and client requirements;
· Data-Driven Insights:
· Use data analytics tools to track the performance of current pricing strategies and identify areas for optimization;
· Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management with actionable insights on pricing trends and performance metrics;
· Cross-Functional Collaboration:
· Work closely with finance, marketing, and operations teams to ensure pricing strategies are effectively communicated and implemented;
· Support the business development team in creating pricing frameworks for new markets and services;
