MESA is a global aircraft maintenance provider, headquartered in Beja, Portugal, and an EASA Part-145 organization approved by ANAC (PT.145.020). With full commitment towards Safety and Reliability, we perform line and base maintenance on Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321/A330/A340/A380.

Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager with competence and skills to perform also commercial & sales activities to join our dynamic team. This is a very dynamic position, where you interact with many national and international players and with enormous potential for professional growth. This professional will work closely with our Board, especially the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and will have full responsibility for projects from start to finish, including budgeting, client negotiation, project coordination and follow-up, and final billing.

✈️What will be your main responsibilities:

  • Manage projects end to end, from initiation to completion

  • Prepare project budgets and cost estimates

  • Lead client negotiations and manage contractual aspects

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor project execution

  • Ensure project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders

  • Track project progress and report on status, risks, and issues

  • Oversee project closure and ensure accurate and timely invoicing

  • Assist in the preparation and management of commercial proposals, contracts, and client communications

  • Participation in conferences and events (national and international)

  • Visiting and receiving clients (national and international)

  • Managing the organization's growth projects

  • Market research and the identification of new business opportunities

  • Help prepare and analyze sales reports, providing insights on trends and opportunities for growth

  • Assist with the preparation of pricing models and commercial presentations

  • Ensure timely and accurate follow-ups, and customer support

  • Provide general administrative support and assist in meeting sales targets.

🔧 Who we’re looking for:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar Project Manager role, ideally within the MRO sector

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

  • Availability to travel – since this is a hybrid position, with a “base” in Lisbon but with the possibility of traveling to Beja, where we have our main production unit
