Mesa is an aircraft maintenance provider based in Lisbon and Beja, Portugal, with several outstations around the world.


An EASA Part-145 Maintenance Organization, approved under Portuguese Authority (ANAC) with Certificate PT.145.020. The company is oriented to perform maintenance worldwide on Airbus A318, A319, A320, A321, A330, A340, A380 and BOMBARDIER CL-600-2B16.

Considering the forecasted growth, we are currently looking for a highly motivated Purchasing and Logistics Specialist with previous experience, to join our team in Beja, Portugal.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage procurement processes from request for quotation to award, based on cost, quality, and delivery time criteria;

· Purchase technical materials, with a focus on aeronautical parts and components;

· Identify and select national and international suppliers, fostering strategic and reliable commercial relationships;

· Negotiate contracts, prices, and logistics conditions with suppliers, ensuring the best service levels;

· Monitor and ensure compliance with delivery deadlines and conditions;

· Coordinate transport arrangements and manage related logistics processes;

· Develop and monitor procurement and logistics performance indicators (KPIs);

· Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and supply chain innovations;

· Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, warehouse and production) to ensure alignment between operational needs and supply capabilities.

SOME OF OUR REQUIREMENTS:

· Higher education (preferably in Management, Engineering, Logistics, or similar);

· Proven experience in similar roles, with a focus on procurement and logistics (mandatory);

· Experience in the aeronautical sector is a plus;

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure;

· Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments;

· Strong negotiation and analytical skills;

· High sense of responsibility, organization, and autonomy;

· Good proficiency in Microsoft Office tools;

· Proficiency in spoken and written English (mandatory).
