Safeport, handling provider in the segment of Business Aviation, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Station Manager to oversee all operational functions at OPO Airport. This role is crucial in representing the company, supervising, and coordinating various handling functions to ensure the efficient and safe handling of flights, passengers, crew, and aircraft.
As the Station Manager, you will be authorized by Safeport to manage and supervise all activities related to passenger and crew services, load control, aircraft loading and unloading, and flight servicing. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with Safeport's service standards and safety regulations, while maintaining cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operational Supervision: Plan, organize, direct, and follow up on all airport functions related to Safeport’s handling services. This includes passenger and crew service, load control, aircraft loading/unloading, and flight servicing, ensuring compliance with relevant instructions and cost-effective operations.
- Service Quality & Compliance: Ensure that all staff understand and adhere to Safeport's service standards. Make sure that all procedures for handling non-compliance or substandard service are known and followed. Act as the key contact for addressing any issues or deviations in service quality.
- Communication & Reporting: Serve as the main liaison between Safeport departments at the airport. Report significant matters, irregularities, or non-compliance promptly to the relevant departments or individuals. All communication within the company should be done via email as the preferred channel.
- Contract & Service Adherence: Oversee the handling services provided to flights, ensuring compliance with all handling agreements. Ensure that the services meet operational, qualitative, and safety standards set by Safeport or any subcontracted companies.

- Proven experience in airport operations or ground handling services.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and operational standards in the aviation industry.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to report and coordinate effectively across multiple departments.
- Ability to manage and motivate teams, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
- Proficient in email communication and internal reporting processes.
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with ground handling companies is a plus.
